About Eileen Morey
Eileen Eilis Morey is a third-generation fine artist best known for her landscape paintings in oils, and her fabric art, especially quilts and wall hangings.
Ms. Morey grew up in Belmont, Massachusetts, and has exhibited in galleries throughout the United States. Her biography has appeared in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Art, and her quilts have been featured in Quilters Newsletter magazine and Professional Quilter.
Her art is generally inspired by green landscapes and historical locations, especially along coastal New England and in the U.K. and Ireland. Her luminous use of color is most often compared with Impressionist and Tonalist art.
From 2003 - 2007, Eileen lived near Houston, Texas. In mid-2008, she will move back to the northeast.

Eileen is a member of the Concord Art Association (MA), York Art Association (ME), NH Plein Air artists, and a juried member of EBSQ.
